moshtix Launches New Website and Turns Up the Music for Summer
Australia’s leading electronic ticketing company refreshes its web presence to pump up the party this summer
Australia’s leading electronic ticketing company, moshtix, today announced the launch of its new website, www.moshtix.com.au.
The launch coincides with the beginning of the summer music festival season and the rollout of scores of other headline events and underground acts throughout hundreds of venues across Australia.
moshtix’s managing director, Adam McArthur, said the new site marked the starting point of the next chapter of moshtix’s development.
“moshtix has risen rapidly during the past two years to become what is by far Australia’s leading and most innovative ticket seller,” he said.
“The launch of our new website clearly marks the start line of the next phase of our development and means we can continue to provide exceptional service to Australia’s headline and underground music events and to our rapidly growing customer base.”
The new website is more intuitive, making it easier for music lovers to find events, and proactively provides event recommendations based on user profiles and previous ticket buying habits. The process for purchasing tickets has also been simplified.
Mr McArthur said the new site reflected moshtix’s mission and core values by representing information in a cool and interesting way and by maintaining the brand’s sense of fun.
“Our business is booming and we work hard but I’d be lying if I said working in the music business wasn’t fun.”
“And I can assure our customers that the party’s only just getting started - it’s going to be a long, hot spring, summer and autumn.”
Users of the new site are able to quickly select their state and have the options of entering keywords, nominating an event category (live music, dance, all ages, festivals, arts or other), selecting a venue, date(s) and price range. Users can then freely browse a narrowed-down list of headline events and immediately buy tickets to their preferred events.
Users can also use moshtix’s iPhone-optimised site - a finalist in this year’s Mobile Marketing and Advertising Awards -, charge their moshcards up over the counter at one of moshtix’s associated retailers (http://www.moshtix.com.au/faq/Outlets.aspx) or book over the phone.
